POS overview
Point of Sale is the till: product scan, tenders (cash / card / gift card), cash drawer, cashback, receipts, suspend/recall, and returns. It talks to the API and an optional local printer bridge.

Register URL
From Admin → Settings → General, copy the POS register URL (includes shop id). Desktop EXE embeds the bridge; browser POS uses a local bridge on port 6315 for receipt printing.

Hardware stack
1) Install POS for Windows (or use browser register). 2) Install Generic / Text Only printer. 3) Bridge prints RAW ESC/POS. 4) Choose printer in till settings (F7). Receipt layout is configured in Admin → Point of Sale → Receipt; each till only selects its Windows printer.
Drawer, reports, and suspended sales
Opening balance, cash sales, change, cashback payouts, and closing count produce drawer movements. Admin → Reports → POS reports shows sales by tender, drawer day-end, returns, and cashback. Suspended baskets are recalled on the till (F9) and managed in Admin → Suspended sales after day-end or timeout.
